Yup, I was hardcore IE user too. Now I'm using Mozilla Firefox. I pay for all my sites and do my banking on-line and this is just one of the articles I have read lately. Too much risk in my openion.

I tried OPera for a few months, but it has some serious incompatibility problems. For example, many of my bank accounts would not allow me to log in with Opera. Would this firefox browser be any better? By the way, it doesnt matter about visiting porn sites. THe bug is installed in IIS on the servers used for all sorts of sites, so you are just as likely to get it from Ebay as a porn site, indeed probably more likely!

In the normal browser window, SSL is not allowed. All you have to do is open a window in safe mode and it will work with your bank accounts and do it much safer than IE. I like knowing I am entering an SSL and have to open a special window to do it.

Well I have had it just 2 hours and I have noticed already some incompatibilities. It doesnt seem to show bold fonts properly which are defined as a CSS style. This is just one bug of many I fea, will keep you posted.

Damn this browser really sucks. It prevents new windows from opening by default, its supposed to stop popups, but it also stops new pages opening on the actual links you have clicked on!! Also, Java Virtual machine is not included and to try and add it as a plug in is extremely complicated.

hehe! It's not easy to get use to. The first day I was hating it. Every day I grow more fond of it. Considering it's a .9 prerelease I think it's pretty good. They still have some work to do but I like it better than any of the others I have tries. Play with some themes and settings Briton. Keep using it for a few days and it will grow on you.

the Scob virus was not on porn sites but on mainstream ones such as ebay. It was a two fold attack : insertion of malicious code on IIS servers that, later on, infected visitors. By the way, a breach as been found on Mozilla : upgrade quick : www.mozilla.org
